I am currently a Controls Engineer working at an Industrial Automation company that offers control solutions to major industry leaders such as UPS, Amazon, etc. I previously worked as a corporate Automation and Controls Engineer at UPS and have experience assisting in large scale projects with design, budgeting, and implementation. I’ve moved from more of a project management role to a hands-on design & commissioning role.
Previously I’ve worked as a Design Engineer at an Utility Consulting Firm working with clients such as Google and Georgia Power. In the many roles I held at this company I oversaw teams of engineers working towards providing utility designs for telecommunication projects within Georgia and Alabama.
For additional income, I am an options and equity investor. I have invested my time in learning the market while trading small, and I am now focused on consistent growth of my portfolio(s). I primarily focus on the tech, healthcare, and real estate sectors. I manage my personal accounts and am not a licensed Portfolio Manager. I educate a small group on the fundamentals of the stock market, technical analysis, ForEx, Crypto, NFTs, etc.
Outside of my day-job I mentor elementary – high school kids as a-part of the C2E Program which focuses on developing kids to be prepared for the real world while also providing back to their local communities. The kids work after-school on math, science, engineering, agricultural, and many other types of projects that help them learn to work as a group, and as individuals with staking roles in their teams. We currently have a few paid interns that have graduated high school through the program and are working with industry leaders on real-world projects while attending college.
